Today the Boston Business Journal announced that Link Ventures’ startup incubator, Cogo Labs, and two Link portfolio companies, Jobcase and Vestmark, have been honored among the area’s “Best Places to Work” for 2019. This well-deserved recognition expresses the collective voice of each company’s workforce — including the leaders who create environments in which employees are heard, encouraged, challenged, and rewarded.

Dave Blundin, the founder and Managing Partner of Link Ventures, has often remarked: “The opportunities are abundant; the teams are rare.” So, when Link invests in a tech company, it’s because a quality team has demonstrated the ability to drive that business through rapid, data-driven growth. Having three different companies in the “Link-verse” nominated as “Best Places to Work” is a gratifying validation of that team-focused approach.

Link Ventures congratulates Cogo Labs, Jobcase and Vestmark for empowering their employees and creating exceptional workplaces! It’s not just something in the water (or the cold brew, or the kombucha) in Cambridge and Wakefield. There’s clearly something to be said about having brilliant colleagues, tight-knit company cultures, and the types of places that nurture and elevate both.
