Link Ventures hosts Happy Hour during NFT.NYC
NFT.NYC was this week, and we absorbed every minute of it. Among the goals of the conference are: give the community a voice, connect people working on like projects, and proselytize.
We couldn’t agree more; we’ve been all in on web3 and its promise for quite some time. As we all explore emerging frontiers such as NFTs together, events like this one are key to promoting both the medium and the marketplaces.
“Despite the market pullback, NFT.NYC has been an action-packed event. Link is putting more and more resources into web3, so we love the energy and the fact that we are seeing so many companies working on products that bring real utility and solve core infrastructure issues,” said Nelson Mills, Principal at Link Ventures.
We held a happy hour this week, to do our part to bring together our existing community in the NFT and web3 space. Our portfolio company Creatively was in attendance to encourage emerging creatives to be part of the conversation. “From open to close, Link Ventures’ event was buzzing. The incredible gallery space was filled with interesting discussions about what’s happening now and what’s ahead. It was a great way to kick off NFT.NYC,” said Greg Gittrich, CEO of Creatively, the job platform for creatives.
“This week has been a dynamic gathering of entrepreneurs, artists, investors and thought leaders who are focused on building a better Internet,” said Lauren Wagner, Principal at Link Ventures. “It’s encouraging to see so many projects shipping and companies launching with new data ownership models that give power back to the users.”
We can’t wait to be part of what’s next!
